There are several kinds of onyx by which the principle name ‘onyx’ is usually used for minerals by which the colours are interweaved like layers or bands. These colours can vary from white to almost every colour.
This yellow onyx comes from Algeria and can be recognised by its yellowish background colour with red and brown coloured bands.
