Pitch Pine derives from the Pinus-species and can originate from Europe and the US.
American pine is pretty similar to the European, but it’s a bit rougher and has in contrast with the European pine (almost) no knots. The wood is used for furniture, doors and stairs and carpentry. This panel is an imitation of a pitch pine door.
